What Bloom does

Bloom is a Chrome extension that helps you track your mood, take regular screen breaks, and complete small wellbeing tasks during the workday.

Data we collect

We collect no data. All information generated by Bloom — including mood entries, points, streaks, tasks, and settings — is stored exclusively on your local device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API.

• No data is sent to any server
• No analytics or tracking
• No third-party services
• No account or login required

Permissions explained

• storage — saves your mood history, points, streak, and settings locally on your device
• alarms — schedules periodic check-in and break reminders
• notifications — displays mood check-in prompts and break reminders
• tabs — opens the Bloom dashboard in a new tab when you click a notification

Data sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to any third party — because we never have access to it in the first place.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update the date above and publish the new version at this URL.
